Nadia Comaneci - (born on 12 November 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej (now Onesti, Romania), Romanian gymnast. The first gymnast to earn a 10. an Olympic competition. Comaneci was first discovered by Bela Karolyi who was later her Romanian gymnastics instructor when she was just six years old. The first time she competed was at the National Junior Championships in which she was 13th place in 1969. In 1970, Comaneci took home the title. In her very first international event in 1972 she came out on top having won three golds. At her first competitive event in senior level, Lyudmila Turkishcheva from Russia took home five gold medals aswell being awarded a silver. In 1976, she was the winner of the American Cup at the New York City Olympics and was the first female to ever dismount parallel bars with backwards double salto. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. The story of Carol Wayne to the world of entertainment began in her teens. With her sister Nina Wayne, she joined touring entertainment programs that were known as Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne is a American citizen who was born on September 6 1942, in Chicago, Illinois. Carol ventured into the entertainment business in her teens. Her first job was as a figure skater, performing alongside her sibling Nina Wayne as part of the touring entertainment show named Ice Capades. The shows featured theatrical ice-skating shows.
